Ja.

If I remember my German classes right. Of course, in HS I had a German teacher whose thermos had a little extra something in it….

Oregon, apparently.

Not sure what his positions are. His FB page is full of prattle about “taking Oregon back from career politicians” and other such demagoguery, and doesn’t seem to specify any positions on the issues. I’ve heard he’s pretty conservative, though—whether he’s a moderate reasonable conservative or an “OB4M4 IS A TERR0R1ST!!” conservative, I have no idea.

I see alot of Zone

defense in our immediate future and too many minutes for Howard and not enough for Bayless.

Wow. . .

How big is your Crystal Ball?

by 77ComeBack on Dec 11, 2009 4:19 PM PST up reply actions

I'd enjoy being a fly on the wall during the Bayless conversations internally

KP is raving about him in interviews but Nate/staff won’t expand his minutes during the game. There’s a disconnect somewhere, probably between either KP and Nate, or KP and us (meaning KP is not giving us all the details).

I’d lean toward the idea that there’s more to the story than we’re hearing during interviews and press conferences.

I’d understand why Bayless would like to move on (whether or not he’s actually requested to do so). He has to think about his next contract, which will be negotiated in just over a year and a half. He needs to show some consistent ability on the court to get a bigger paycheck, but that won’t happen in 17 minutes a game against the other teams’ benches.

Maybe it's all part of an evil plot

to lowball Rex at contract time. :)

I still think we’ll let him become an RFA unless we lowball him and he accepts.

I'm hoping he'll take an incentive-laden deal

But I suspect he’ll be worried enough about his future that he’ll want to secure it.

There’s a disconnect somewhere, probably between either KP and Nate, or KP and us (meaning KP is not giving us all the details).

Ya think?

KP comes on 95.5 and says “yeah, Nate and I had a meeting and I told him PA wants you to start Patty Mills as soon as he’s healthy so you better get busy showcasing Blake and/or Miller”

Sometiimes we’ll hear about what “really” happened in the war room after the fact, but the less “we” know the better job the front office is doing keeping their “leaks” stopped up

I’d really like to see more Rex, but it’s almost as important to give plenty of minutes to Dre in order to showcase him for the inevitable trade. Hang in there JB, your time’s a comin’.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
