Thats what I'm talkin bout!
Finally! Brandon got his. All I can say is, its about time. I mean, we were losing before and our super star, our chosen one, the man who holds the keys wasn't getting his. So to me it doesn't matter that we dropped a 3rd straight game as long as Brandon is satisfied. And don't call anyone selfish here for being honest. Please. Brandon has earned the right to say whatever he wants. Its not his fault we lost tonight. Its certainly not Nate's fault. And Steve Blake? Really? You think that guy does enough to make an impact on a game either way? C'mon. None of these guys are ever gonna actually take responsibility for a loss so stop waiting for it.
The biggest problem I see in the future is what happens when LA comes back? Broy took 25 shots tonight but that may not be possible if LA wants to be a part of this "offense." So here's the solution: We get another blazer to sacrifice for the sake of Brandon. Or the team. Whatever. I don't really care, as long as our super duper star is happy.
Since everyone is saying how successful we were last year (never mind the first round exit, we won 54 games guys!), I'm just gonna go ahead and point the finger and Greg Oden and Andre Miller since they are both bringing something different to the team this year. First off, how dare Greg Oden actually get plays called for him?! Does he not realize that when the play calls for him to get the ball in the low post that Brandon is FORCED to sit outside the 3 point line and is taken completely out of the game? What was that? Most of his shots are coming off of his own offensive rebounds? Well, I just think there should be a pecking order. That's all I'm saying.
Don't get me started on Andre Miller. Obviously he's not a starter at this level, I mean, he's a career backup isn't he? And if he can't get with the program (and by program, I mean give Broy the ball and get thee hell out of the way) then KP needs to ship him out.
In conclusion, apparently Brandon is comparable to Dwyane Wade now so I say treat him as such. Nate, or whoever is coaching this team, needs to maximize Brandon's opportunity to reach the all star game. 80 million dollars is not enough guys. Brandon NEEDS shots! I say give them to him. And if tonight is any indication of where we're headed, I think we're on the right track!

Why the hate against BRoy???
Everyone, including Brandon, knows that centers don’t win championships! Neither does ball movement, fast breaks, pick and rolls, and moving the ball inside. I mean really, when has a center meant anything in winning a championship. It’s basically a useless position. That’s the problem with Miller, he’s still stuck in some delusional world where these things win games. BRoy knows this and as long as we give him the ball and let him run his stagnant and slow 1 on 4 iso’s, we’ll win another championship like last year. Oh wait…

I hope you're not talking about my post above you.
Because if you are, then you must be talking about yourself.
since
when did andre miller become some sort of messiah with infinite wisdom? It wasnt when he got past the first round of a playoff series i’m sure of that. Has he ever even led a team to 50 wins before? As predicted the miller signing has doomed this team and blazer fans want to blame roy for trying to right things. Now its “OMG he wants more shots, who the hell does he think he is?” All i can say is miller will more than likely be gone by the trading deadline and things can begin t get back to normal.
Suppose u have some inside info?

i guess u love first round exits with mediocre point guards.

More astounded by the ignorance than tired
The team just gave up FG%s of 53,60 and 53% and you are focusing on Roy’s 25 shots?
He took those shots because Aldridge was out and other guys weren’t hitting. Webster and Fernandez were 5-19. Oden was 4-13. The only player to shoot plus 50% was Howard and that was more to do with the Heat focusing so much on Roy and Oden.
Its not like the team played better when Roy was 7-13 against the Jazz. Whats really irritating is that Roy is averaging more assist in this losing streak than he was before. Roy is anything but a selfish player.
The team took a bigger beating with Roy shooting 13 shots.
yep
Brandon’s shots are actually down this year…. Not one of his teammates has ever hinted at him being a selfish teammate. Yet people take his comments out of context and place the blame of a losing games because of injuries and insane shooting by the other team squarely on Roy. Definitely reminds me of how much hate people were throwing at Oden last year early in the season.

Conspicuously absent from this post
was a suggestion that the Blazers fire Nate and replace him with Isiah.
What better coach to teach Brandon the fine art of total ball domination than the alleged mastermind of the
infamous “freezeout” of Michael Jordan in the 1985 All Star Game?
Say what you will about Isiah the coach or gm, but
I’d take Isiah the player over any other pg in the league today. That guy could ball and took his team on a 4 year run of dominance and 2 rings, while have one of the lesser championship supporting casts. He was a warrior and a true point guard. One of the best ever at his position.
