Here is video of Greg Oden getting dunked on. However, I see this as a plus, and a step in the right direction. He was slightly out of position and an attempted block would have almost positively meant a foul. So, rather than an attempted block and a foul, Greg recognized his presence in the game is more important than a chance to stop two points. Let me know what you think. Am I off my rocker?

Psh, don't listen to Chris Webber.
Jumping and attempting to block that would have been futile and only resulted in a reputation foul at best. Not much he could have done about that.

I agree, I’m glad he moved out of the way. It would have been a foul anyway. Unless he just pummeled Jefferson and stopped everything all together.

Great play by Oden
If Oden went for a block, there was probably about a 10% chance he would have made it. The other 90% was a foul. I’d rather have Oden in than get a block against Jefferson.

I was surprised GO wasn't called for a foul
Greg had both hands on RJ’s waist, if his intent was to let Jefferson score, he should’ve not made any contact.
The fact that Crawford and the other refs didn’t call an “and one” on this play could be a sign that Oden is starting to get the benefit of the doubt, and that’s a good thing for Blazer fans
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!

Jeffersons dunk, Ha!
It was a freebie. It’s just sick that such a totally inefectual and un-important play gets number 1 spot Martel’s was much better as it ment something rather than a non play to avoid fouling and giving SA a slight chance.

oden dodged a few calls that are normally made against him tonight
but he also did a good job trying to stay straight up.

Even the best shot blockers get dunked on.
Blazers won, so I doubt Oden cared too much.
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Smart play by Greg. In the playoffs, you level the guy. It's an 82-game season. Totally stupid No. 1 pick for highlights
Beasley’s layup, CP3’s move, and LeBron’s pass were all better plays. Not to mention Marty’s perfectly timed put-back dunk.
Trade Nate!

I loved this play.
It made me happy that greg made a good decision plus jefferson made it look extra nasty.
