Interesting article by Howard
Interesting article by Oden Howard. Somewhat OT but applicable to Greg and Joel none the less. I swear you could replace Howard with Oden and it is true... although I do agree Oden has plenty to work on but at the same time let the 7 footers get dirty under the bucket.

Refs don't like Centers anymore
TrueHoop: On his blog, Orlando center Dwight Howard writes about the fouls and injuries that kept him from playing much in a Magic loss to the Pistons last night. On both counts, he implicates the night’s referees Steve Javie , Eli Roe and Joe Forte:
“I was on the floor for 16 minutes and fouled out!!! Let me say that again: 17 minutes and six fouls!!! How can that be, ya’ll? It was crazy. They called me for a charge on a flop, a push off when the defender was on me and two fouls on blocked shots.
“Man, 16 minutes is a lifetime low for me I think. I haven’t played that little in a game since I was 10 years old in pee-wee ball. It was crazy from the start of the game all the way to when I fouled out with about 4 minutes to play.”

Fine pending
Unless the League really is so bias towards superstars that they don’t dare offend them.

Nice, good that Howard is addressing these things
I sometimes feel like of course guys like Oden, Howard, etc. have to watch for ticky tacky fouls; but on the other hand a number of refs don’t seem to remember how bruising center battles were in the 90s and earlier. Guys like Barkley, Ewing, Malone, and even Hakeem would have fouled out of every second game if they would be called like today.
But slowly things happen that they cannot help and the Blazers Fellowship of the Ring begins to break apart

Let the guys play.
I don’t spend my hard earned money to go to games to watch free throws.
