Who in Oregon or Washington was able to watch the Blazers on League Pass?
I watched all the games, and was very surprised to not be blacked out. I’ve got Dish Network. i watched one game on TNT, one on the satellite uplink of the local Eugene station (horrible picture) and 3 on the League Pass free trial. I live 200 miles south of Portland (southeast of Roseburg). I emailed both the NBA, and Dish, to ask if they had temporarily lifted the blackout rules for the free trial, but I have yet to receive a reply. I am very interested in who else was able to watch the Blazers on League Pass that expected to be blacked out.
Also, the last game against the Hawks i watched on League Pass was the only LP game with our announcers. It was a Comcast NW broadcast, but not in HD. Why do they uplink games in SD?

I was able to watch every free preview
game on league pass on directv in Klamath Falls, in Southern Oregon, but they were all the other teams broadcasts, so i’m not sure if i would get the rest blacked out or not if i bought it. Since the Blazers are still the local market team i believe the blackout would be in effect.

Do you mean that you
think the Blazer broadcasts will be blocked out but not the other teams broadcast of their team playing against the Blazers?

I doubt it
if you were blacked out, you get no broadcasts, period. You don’t get to choose which team’s broadcast you get to see.

Seattle Area
We were blacked out for the last home game. I was able to watch away games fine though.

This doesn't make alot of sense.
I’m trying to figure out if the games will be blacked out now that the free trial is over. Last year they refused to activate League Pass for a few minutes just to see if it’s blacked out. I am cautiously hopeful that the blackout won’t darken my space.
As far as whose broadcast is available I am assuming that Comcast has other ways of distributing it’s signal to the few cable networks that carry it. If it is uplinked to satellite, it would be on League Pass.
This would be so much easier and better if they would just make a deal w/ the satellite carriers.

I used the Broadband Free Trial
The opener against the Rockets was on there, no blackout. But the Saturday and Sunday road games (HOU & OKC) were blacked out.
The NBA told me that since I’m in Medford I shouldn’t be blacked out. I called, and have yet to hear back.

I too used the Broadband free trial
I was able to watch the home game against Atlanta on the broadband league pass. I’m in Portland so It was a complete shock to not be blocked out. Others were saying that they were blacked out. I wasn’t sure if it mattered what internet provider a person had or not but I have verizoin Fios for my internet.
