and stratedgy. Last years Houston series exposed our kryptonite. Put a big athletic wing on Roy and run double and triples at him as soon as he puts the ball on the floor. Everyone else saw how successful this was on us and they are copying it. Ever hear someone say Adelman is just an offense coach? Yea. Right. And Ducks have lips.
Nate's offense is a small man offense. The ball rotations favor standstill jumpshooters and isolation plays. Watching all three home games at the garden this season has made it perfectly clear to me. Our offense is going to struggle until we change our basic attack. Too often we are swinging the ball around for 15-20 seconds before a play materializes. Then with 6-8 seconds on the shot clock they may actually make a pass into Oden or Aldridge but now there is no time to repost or pass to cutters out of the post. Its shoot or shot clock violation time. The days of Roy breaking down an offense all by himself are over. We are big team. It's time to attack with the bigs consistently and early in the shot clock.
