Freeman: Nate Interview
This is the best probing I've seen in a while. Maybe I need to renew my subscriptions to....
Nate's either missing the point of a few questions or annoyingly covering for someone. It's pretty clear that he thinks Roy and LMA are being a bit prima donna ish.

Awesomeness
Have you talked to Andre Miller since Saturday’s game?
"Yeah."
What was the nature of your talk?
"Just how he feels."
Was it a positive discussion?
"All discussions are positive."
Disclaimer: everything I know about basketball I learned on Blazersedge.
As close as Mcmillan has ever gotten to calling people out
Great, pointed pointed interview by Quick
Freeman's much more persistent than Quick
It’s good that they can come at the Blazers from the friendly and friendlier angle.
I'm a really really ridiculously good looking orange mocha frappaccino drinking manhammer sandwich
This and the new BT Smith Miller interview make a great pair.

Hmm...
Now, if we’re going into the post and we drop it to Greg and then we drop it to LA and then maybe Martell (Webster) touches the ball or shots a jump shot or (Steve) Blake comes off [the bench?] and gets a shot, all of a sudden …
Being a Blazer fan is not exactly healthy.
Freeman has surpassed Quick imo with his work this season
P.S. Did you guys know that ‘we have to scrap’?
If I had a dollar for every time Nate said that I wouldn’t be here posting with you guys. I would dicate my posts and hire someone to actually do this typing.
Ugh Nate…calling out Miller and ignoring Blake’s horrible start to the season is really homerish. I want to defend you Nate, help me out here….

I'd like to know how many people here who have played any sort of basketball ...
… can honestly say they have given all out effort on every offensive and defensive possession in every game they’ve played?
It is the rare, exceptional individual that does not take plays off. The rest of us do it all the time. And justify it with cliches like “pacing” ourselves. It is a phenonmenon that is present in every level of sports, from sand lot to the pros. Nate knows this. He knows he is swimming up stream against human nature. But he also understands that if his players do not realize that they have to swim up stream, no matter how hard it may seem, they will never reach their potential. That’s why we always hear him talking about scrapping and effort.
hakkaa päälle !
