Hey, NBA. That was a great marketing campaign for NBA League Pass Broadband. I love having access to games, providing they aren't blacked out. This free trial has been a great taste of your service's quality: of the Portland Trail Blazers' five games during the trial period, I was able to watch one game, while only four were blacked out! I will surely pay $89.95 to $149.95 to enjoy great coverage all season. Thank you.

For us out of area types, I wouldn't trade it for anything else available.
The problem is Comcast. Since they own the rights, they could sue the NBA for breach of contract for underselling them. Or blame the Blazers for signing the deal in the first place. It’s a pain in the patookus, but blame the blackout on the right people. The NBA has enough that they are responsible for messing up that they don’t need more piled on that isn’t their fault directly.

Yep
LP is not for those who are local, it’s for those of us living hundreds or thousands of miles away who have no other way to catch broadcasts of our beloved Blazers.

Well it obviously has to do with where you live.
My guess is that you’re near Houston blacking out those two games, where you should have been able to see the games on their local network. The third blackout would be the game that was on TNT, which you could have seen in HD if you have it on your TV.
I’m stuck in Nashville and League Pass has worked great for me.
PS. There’s only been four games so far this season.
Go Blazers!
Even "nice fellows" like the Trail Blazers are, to a hombre, proud, competitive, and dripping in masculinity.

I'm at school in Tacoma
Maybe I’m considered in the area…. who knows.
Fifth game is the Hawks game, which is blacked out for me.

I live in Oakland. I saw all but the National TV games.
I just paid the $90, because this service is actually kinda awesome.

I was able to watch 0/5 games
From Seattle.
Until all games are available, LEAGUE PASS IS WORTHLESS.

I watched all of the games from Southern Oregon.
I’ve got Dish Network. i watched one game on TNT, one on the satellite uplink of the local Eugene station (horrible picture) and 3 on the League Pass free trial. I live 200 miles south of Portland (southeast of Roseburg). I emailed both the NBA, and Dish, to ask if they had temporarily lifted the blackout rules for the free trial, but I have yet to receive a reply. I am very interested in who else was able to watch the Blazers on League Pass that expected to be blacked out.
Also, the last game against the Hawks i watched on League Pass was the only LP game with our announcers. It was a Comcast NW broadcast, but not in HD. Why do they uplink games in SD?

On a side note...
You can get a iPhone, Jailbreak it, and then download the cracked version of NBA’s $39.99 League Pass for free! Technology is great.
