November Jersey Contest Winner

Our November Jersey Contest is in the books!  We had a record number of players this month and I assume it'll only get stronger as the season progresses.  You can enter the first game in the December contest right here.

Our winner this month gets a replica jersey of their choice and also gains automatic entry into the end-of-season playoffs for the season's Grand Prize.  If you finished strong but didn't win, don't worry.  Those playoffs will be rounded out by players who did well consistently, so keep plugging away.

Also as an added bonus for the top finishers, I'm instituting a new wrinkle in the contest.  Everyone who finishes between 2 and 20 in any month will have their names thrown into a hat.  If either Joel Przybilla or Greg Oden hits a three-pointer at any time this season a random name will be drawn from that pool of top finishers and that person will win a jersey on the spot.  It's unlikely, but it could happen.  Now you have something else to root for.

Click through to see this month's winner and the Top 20.

this is great! thanks again for the opportunity!

I missed a few Nov games and I started when I was already a few entries behind. But with a clean slate for Decembers contest, I hope I wont miss an entry. I actually got a 3rd place with a 76 score on my first try, but its been all down hill from there. My second entry I got an 80score! but was ranked 30th! 60th is hard to come by these days…LOL Funny !
Thanks again, its just another reason why this is a top notch site. Its cool to even have a chance to win something for nothing. And plus, its fun!

Thanks Blazersedge! :D

Thanks for such a cool competition and awesome opportunity! It’s pretty difficult to try and get hold of Blazers jerseys here in the UK! (am I the first ever non-American winner?)I’ll start looking into which jersey to go for!

How should I get in touch with you Dave?

Congrats Phil!

I know a guy named Phil from Great Britain but I don’t guess that’s you. Well done.

Also, thanks Dave.

Thanks!

I know a few Portlanders actually! (hence the fandom!) You aren’t a Rudolph by any chance are you?

by PhilGB on Nov 30, 2009 6:40 AM PST up reply actions

No, sorry.

My friend’s name is Phil Stacey.

Europe crushing USA, USA, USA :)

Congrats Phil. I’m also happy that I missed out by more than 10 since for one question in the NJ game the system cheated me and didn’t remember my pick (Blazers won’t score more than 100)!

My odds of making it in the top 20 are low, but

at least now I can root for GO and Joel to make a three. Just because.

Not bad for my first month of this

Tied for 98th, missing the form for the Utah game.

Not bad

10th place, but I was holding steady at 3rd and 4th place for most of the month…

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
