Crunching Some Numbers
Coup over at Rip City Project compiled some rankings for the Blazers -- both team and individual -- and adds some solid analysis to the findings.
Also, you might check out Ryan Parker over at BasketballGeek.com, who built a team power ranking system inspired by one of Kevin Pelton's recent posts. Guess who is sitting in the number one position? Ryan says his rankings will update daily. Very cool stuff.

Rudy's defensive numbers are surprising, to say the least...
He also has the 4th highest PER on the team(discounting Dante), I want to see his and Blakes minutes per game inverted. Rudy at about 30mpg, Blake at about 24mpg…
RUDY > MJ
Rip City Project
does a real deep job. Way to go, I like what I saw! Good stuff Rip City!!

So we really are better than we think we are!! woot!
The Faith don't panic, the faith freaks out, burns out farms, and torchs small villages in the name of The Faith.
Head Czar of Amerika <--- Mortimer said so so there!!!
Rudy
Nate should try rudy starting for small forward.
or the 2
just so long as he’s getting serious minutes.
...and that's a good thing

Memphis big 1st half run came with Miller in the game and Blake out.
Memphis outscored us by 14 when Miller replaced Blake in the first half. Then they outscored us by 5 more when Bayless replaced Miller (Blake still on bench). They only outscored us by 3 with Blake in the game. The game was lost in the first half with Miller in the game. It may not have been Miller’s fault, but the team played better with Blake.
(For some reason popcornmachine.com has it Miller -14, Bayless -4, Blake -4, a meaningless 1 point difference, but not the same as the game play-by-play on nba.com – I thought I would point that out before someone argues the numbers.)
Blake was +4 to start the 2nd half (the first 9 minutes). Miller then came in and played the last 15 minutes and was +8, but the game was decided in the first half.

^^^ While a single game +/- is not predictor of future performance, or necessarily a indicator of individual performance,
it simply reflects that the TEAM did not play well in the first half tonight with Miller running the point. In fact, we were outscored 16-2 during Miller’s 1st half appearance.
