Blazersedge social research project #1: Who's your 5th favorite active Blazer?

Hey there, Blazer fans! This is my first attempt at a poll on the Edge. Let's hope I get it working properly.

Well, the purpose of this poll is to find out who your 5th favorite active Blazer is. So, try to rank your top five favorite Blazers, who are on the team now, and then vote for the one who is in the number 5 slot. By "active", I just mean on the roster. For this poll, a player could be starting, in the rotation, not in the rotation, or injured--it doesn't matter. Being on the roster currently is the only criterion.

Now, your favorite players don't have to be the most talented or most vitally important ones on the team. They should be the ones you most enjoy watching, who interest you the most, who you might care about as just plain people.

If you feel like it, go ahead an write a brief comment explaining your vote.

Thanks for participating. See you around!

You're saying that they look like they're giving it their all. And you know why they look that way? Because they're bad, and it literally takes them the maximum physical effort to accomplish basic baseball tasks like throwing the ball from short to first. When David Eckstein throws the ball to first base, he has to wind up like a shot-putter, spin around forty-three times, and launch it at an angle 89 degrees from the horizontal. Afterwards, he undergoes an IV drip for a fortnight and he's so out of breath that he requires several months of acupuncture to regain the power of speech. For this we laud him. -Junior of Deadspin on 'scrappy' players

Dang actually

maybe Martell, ugh. If you ask me this after Martell’s had a good game it would be him. Pretty much my top 3 would stay the same, but 4-8 on any given night could be Travis, Rudy, Martell, or Batum.

You totally played mind games with me.

I totally skipped the part in your thread where active actually meant “anyone on the roster” so I voted Martell. I totally would have put someone else.

Bummer.

I did not totally try to mislead you.

But now you must find someone else in the Bedgedom who was intending to vote for Martell, and you must have them vote instead for the player you really would’ve voted for.

I’m sorry to tell you this, but unless you follow through, the numbers just won’t add up, and my research will be worthless.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Because

a. Guess how many people would say Brandon, Greg, LaMarcus, or Rudy? That is boring and predictable.
b. There is a somewhat uniform but random distribution here that is more interesting. What conclusions can you draw?
c. This poll makes you think a little bit. I wanted to distract people.
d. I like silly and random stuff.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
