Tyrus Thomas is just as good as LaMarcus Aldridge (seriously)
This comparison is actually believable...

Can't say I blame them.
That thread was making my logic systems hurt.

The poll over there was too confusing.
If Tyrus Thomas had spent his career as Portland’s starting PF, would he have posted similar numbers to Aldridge?
This question doesn’t make any sense. As we know, when someone becomes a Blazer, either by being drafted or traded or just being signed as a walk-on, they undergo a profound and mysterious transformation.
It is fruitless to mention that Sammy Spur’s or Larry Laker’s numbers equal or surpass those of Billy Blazer. No matter what, Billy is simply better.
We don’t know how this works, and we don’t need to know how. We just need to continue to believe.

Clearly, this was a stab at a Post here at Bedge
Clearly the Bulls were offended someone thought Bayless is comparable to Rose in a hypothetical senario.
I don't think they were offended.
I think they thought the idea was pretty ridiculous and for good reason.

And we deserved it, for voting over 30% that Bayless would be as good as Rose.

They're currently showing how Miller outperformed Rose last year
We probably don’t need to apologize too much.

The voting there is crazy
Yes: 20
Maybe: 27
No: 1,197
and their poll is slightly more plausible too.

I dunno
They’ve both been in the league 4 years and Thomas hasn’t come close to showing he’s got Aldridge’s game.
He got 27.5 minutes last year. Per 15.9 to 19.1
which is closer to what bayless and rose have done, hence his point

Bayless hasn't had a chance
Bayless: 12 minutes
Rose: 37 minutes
Thomas has had opportunity to prove himself. Bayless has not.
Do people really not know satire when it bites them in gentlemens area?

They do
That doesn’t mean we have to stop discussing it I hope…
Bayless will never be able to do what Rose can do.
Bank it.

bulls fans elsewhere were talking about how Noah is better than Oden too before the game.
Then after the game the only reason Oden did so good was because he played against a scrub like Noah, of course.

Nobody said that.
I haven’t read that anywhere. Sure, were excited about Noah, who could feasibly back up Howard in the all-star game if he can put up ~14 and 12, but nobody thinks he is a better player than Oden. Less foul prone, perhaps, but in terms of who’s better when he’s on the floor, it clearly is Oden.
Metal sharpens metal.
And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan
The Bulls shrink like a dick in cold water.
sam smith said that
here:
So how’s that 2007 draft look on production and not potential if done today? Like this?
1. Kevin Durant
2. Al Horford
3. Joakim Noah
4. Greg Oden
5. Aaron Brooks
Although I don’t think any of the good folks at BlogaBull did.
I posted this on BlogaBull but I wanted to say
I’m jealous of your (Blazers) team. I really believe that TT in your system would have thrived, you have the ownership, GM and coach that would have utilized Tyrus to be one of the better 3/4s in the league. So yeah, your votes and posts piss me off but you guys win. Congrats and I just hope you guys prevent the Lakers from winning another ring.
Touche
Since it was my post that started all this, I thought I’d drop a note and say that I thought your spoof post was well done. I deserved it. Though I’ll say this, my post came across a little more provocatively than I intended (which is my fault). Rose has clearly accomplished WAY more in this league than Bayless and until Bayless does even half the things Rose has done, no one should be saying he’s as good as Rose. That said, I really do think that Rose and Bayless are roughly equivalent in raw talent and that, given the same opportunity, Bayless may yet prove to be a player of Rose’s caliber.
I should also add that I say that not just as a Blazer fan, but as a guy who considers the Bulls his second favorite team and watches almost every Bull game. I like Rose. But I think he’s got a pretty one-dimensional game so far (like Bayless). He’s very good at that one dimension, but he’s got a long way to go to be an all star.
