Evidently the Grizzlies have decided to send their promotional A.I. jerseys to Tanzania, while replacing their planned promotional giveaway with Marc Gasol T-Shirts.

when you see photos snapped in Africa or other very out of the way places, you often see the t-shirts made for thee loser of championships. That first run that is made for both teams, where else do the defeated teams shirts go? Instead of destroying them they are donated at some tax deduction I’m sure, to clothe the poor.

I'm going to Tanzania in a few weeks to visit family

My sister in law is teaching over there on a Fullbright scholarship and she’s having an impossible time having educational materials shipped there.
Luckily there seems to be no problem sending worthless jerseys.
