some of it..

as a blazer fan I’d pull the trigger on 1,2,3 no question…the others are up for debate and the last 2 are for fun…As for Jennings…At this point I’d probably trade lamarcus or brandon for him straight up…

hmm..

1. Well, on 1 I wouldn’t do it. The downgrade to our center position would be less than the upgrade to our power forward position. Chris Bosh would leave town for money at the end of his contract.

2. Scola’s usefulness as backup PF is destroyed by the hurt at center by losing Joel.

3. Kaman would be likely to be a downgrade at backup center. He is a great offensive weapon, but we need the super rebounding & defense Joel provides, since after Greg & LMA we have no big men.

I think Jennings is great too. But I wouldn’t trade LMA for him straight. I value size & I don’t trade an known for a unknown.

I'm not sure what would get Danny Ferry fired faster

Letting LeBron walk in free agency for nothing (then at least he has cap space), or doing that trade.

we should do all of them

at the same time.
don’t tell the other teams that we’ve already traded some of the players.
it will be a like a trick.

How about Roy and filler for Paul

Paul / don’t care
Rudy / don’t care
Batum / don’t care
Aldridge / don’t care
Oden / don’t care

No more point guard debate, no more selfish Roy, no more Hinrich, no more Bosh, Lebron, Wade, Melo…

Just a championship.

...and that's a good thing

I talk about this often

I would trade Roy for Paul no questions asked. Can you imagine Paul feeding LaMarcus and Greg? Damn that would be sick.

true

Please, for the love of all that is holy, please stop using the following: "Book it.", "FTW", "Epic" & "Fail".

...no seriously--stop.

the only position worth trading for is PG for us. We're solid at 2 4 5 and decent at 3. we just have major weaknesses at 1..and coach.

o i'm serious!

and I think we should look into it. Paul is disgruntled (i love that word) and I like Rudy more than Roy. Its a win win.

...and that's a good thing

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
