Bass appears to be the odd Magic man out
How perfect would he have been as our back-up 4. Not even going to play in Orlando now.
He says:
"I think we're a better team with me out there," Bass said. "But we're winning, so there's really nothing I can say."

We can still trade for him after December 15
I’m sure Orlando would trade him for Blake. With Nelson out with an injury, Blake is exactly who they need, a veteran PG who can hit threes and has an expiring contract.
They’d probably also trade Bass and Anthony Johnson for Andre Miller.

It makes a lot of sense for both sides, I agree.

This was my exact thought when
"The two things you've got to do to give yourself a chance to win games. One, you've got to shoot the ball. Second thing, we've got to play defense."

... I read about this (accidently hit enter before I finished writing)
Blake for Bass would be the most beautiful trade ever.

Does anyone honestly think Blake is going anywhere? Maybe next year if Bayless really picks things up, but I doubt it even then.
