When is Batum coming back?
With the recent 3-guard line up comes to the end, our rebound numbers finally get back to normal and it seems that Webster gets his groove back. However, I just have the feeling that Webster is still not the solution at SF when we face some legitimate teams such as Denver, Cleveland and so forth. Therefore, I just wonder when is my favorite Blazers Nicholas Batum coming back? (I believe we need his hustle, block shot, rebound, def skills, corner 3pt and his dunk)

out for the season
or close enough. Same with Outlaw.
Perhaps February
more likely March, pessimistically April (regular season ends mid-April).

I believe they said 3-5 monhts when he had the surgery
3 would be end of January, 5 would be end of March. The former is probably unlikely. The latter is probably too late (figure a few weeks past that to get in game shape, etc).
However, if he splits the difference and comes back in 4 months, that would be the end of February. We have exactly 20 games in March & April combined – or almost exactly 1/4 of the season. One would think that shoudl be sufficient time to round himself into playing shape, get re-acclimated with his teammates, and be ready to go come playoffs.
One also should remember that since we run very few called plays for the ‘3’ in our system, it should be much less disruptive to reintroduce Batum to our rotation than it would be to try to rework in a point guard, post man, or even someone like Outlaw.
How did you guys win that?

I think We are really missing Batum
He was more important to our team than I realized. Cannot wait until he is back.
