Rotation...Oden
I dont understand why Mr Nate HAS to stick to his minutes plan rather than letting the game flow. If Oden is having success, with limited or no fouls, why in the first quarter or whenever does he HAVE to take him out? 6 minutes BAM. cya ur out of the game no matter what. if the man is playing well with limited fouls...let him stay in the game for a few more minutes. hey, maybe even try for a whole quarter. i get it, he might have conditioning issues, but we wont be able to see what he can do playing extended minutes if u dont give the guy a chance.
give GO a chance.

Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nate McMillan is killing me!!!!!!! 6 first half minutes for Aldridge And 9 for Oden!?!?!?!?!
I have no clue what he’s doing!!!
Brandon Roy should be back at his natural position (where he eats opposing guards) and Webster should be starting at the 3!!!!!!!!
WHY DOES HE INSIST ON GIVING BLAKE SO MANY MINUTES???
If Brandon Jennings, Tyreke Evans, J Flynn or any of those other rookies that are killin’ were on our team nobody would even know who they are let alone what they can do. Give cunningham a shot!!! Quit bein so scary!!!!!! The only reason Batum got a chance last season was because Webster went down with an injury. And i thought Bayless was doing quite well in the limited minutes he was getting too, when we ran (for 2 games).
Anyhow…….. It looks like the General is gonna cost us this game too. He’ll blame it on the players no doubt. But hey, he’s our coach so we gotta love em right?

Ditto!!
In the 1st period tonight, every time the ball went into Oden, he either scored, drew a foul or passed out of a doubleteam for an assist. He was 100% effective on offense, playing good defense with at least one block and NO FOULS! So at the 8 minute mark with Oden completely on a roll and dominating, he gets subbed out because that is McMillan’s preordained plan. So instead of riding the hot hand, he stopped Oden’s and the team’s momentum, which they were never able to get back.
The other thing that drives me crazy is sitting Oden down for the rest of the first half after two fouls, and for the rest of the 3rd quarter after his 4th foul. McMillan refuses to let Greg try to play through some of his foul issues on the court. Sure enough, Oden played the 4th quarter without picking up another foul.
The point isn’t that he finished the game with 4 fouls, but that because of Nate’s inflexible “rules”, Oden was on the court during the crucial 2nd and 3rd quarters tonight for all of about 4 minutes. He was the one player who the Warriors had no answer for and were clearly overmatched. So what happens? Nate takes that advantage for us out of the game from end of the 1st quarter essentially till the 4th.
This loss is entirely on Nate!!
i agree. i just put up an analysis of his coaching but ive said it since the season started. Free Greg.
