LMA is 2nd lowest

he was around there last year too.

However, the nice thing is look at LMA’s defensive stats!

7th in Defensive Winshares!
18th in Defensive rating! (Oden and Przybilla are 1-2)

You forgot one...

Oden is #1 in fouls too :(

Hibbert figured out how to play without fouling. I really think Oden isn’t far off. I just wonder if he can keep his defensive intensity up AND learn not to foul so much.

sure he can

rep for D + experience=less fouls.

Hibbert is alot slower than Oden

From what I’ve seen and heard he has stopped fouling by letting faster players get around him and at time playing some pretty porous D. I think Oden can learn something from the way Hibbert is keeping out of foul trouble but he also has far greater defensive potential so he is trying to stop doing silly things that he thinks he can do while Hibbert is more likely just not trying to do those things (ie. stop faster guards going to the basket etc).

BTW Hibbert is also getting 3 more shots per game while shooting far less efficiently…..weird.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
