Please take these with a grain of salt. They are Formulas, and Stats. But not the be all end all.
- Oden has highest Block %
- Oden has highest total # of blocks
- Rudy has highest Steal %
- Oden is #1 in TOTAL REBOUNDING %
Top 5 Defensive Rating Players:
1. Oden
2. Przy
3. Garnett
4. Rudy
5. Dampier
Oden is #4 in defensive Win shares (aldridge is #7)
Roy is #6 in Win shares
Aldridge is #2 in Turnover Percentage (!!)

LMA is 2nd lowest
he was around there last year too.
However, the nice thing is look at LMA’s defensive stats!
7th in Defensive Winshares!
18th in Defensive rating! (Oden and Przybilla are 1-2)

Oden is #1 in fouls too :(
Hibbert figured out how to play without fouling. I really think Oden isn’t far off. I just wonder if he can keep his defensive intensity up AND learn not to foul so much.

Hibbert is alot slower than Oden
From what I’ve seen and heard he has stopped fouling by letting faster players get around him and at time playing some pretty porous D. I think Oden can learn something from the way Hibbert is keeping out of foul trouble but he also has far greater defensive potential so he is trying to stop doing silly things that he thinks he can do while Hibbert is more likely just not trying to do those things (ie. stop faster guards going to the basket etc).
BTW Hibbert is also getting 3 more shots per game while shooting far less efficiently…..weird.
