Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Making a habit of linking O-live stuff here but in this case I think its entirely justified.

I don't want to board the hype train but to me if this is true and continues then it is far more important than how many point or boards or blocks he gets......he could be the catalyst for this team to become a defense first squad. How epic could that shift be in the evolution of this team?

Very good article

If Oden is finally going to stop being so self conscious and demanding the level of winning he’s had in his HS & College days… watch out.

He May A Sore Spot With OKC

They have Durant — and He and Oden will forever be linked by their draft position.

I’m sure that Oden will want to crush Kevin Durant his entire career!

Hopefully he will bring this attitude to other games with season.

Sounds like Oden is developing nicely

Have him take a more vocal role could be the start of a nice transformation in him. He will hopefully see this more as his team. Kevin looked like such a little kid next to oden I love that.

Taken with a grain of salt

Local media will trumpet any evidence of a good sign. That said, when 7’-0’ – 280 lb. tells me to jump I do ask how high.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
