Bill Simmons first compared Oden to Dampier

during the middle of last season

When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!

Obviously, Oden can only dream of being as good as Dampier.

I would think that Damp could sue Oden for trying to copy his game. Enough is enough already. As Forrest said, "Stupid is as stupid does!"

The best players only try to, "do it all," themselves when it is a playoff necessity or, on occasion, to put on a show. There is no need to belabor the point!

I'm not sure what this guy's talking about.

Pitchfork and the indie magazines hate Muse. They’re not nearly popular enough to be the next big thind.

Oh yah, Oden’s better than Dampier too.

Yes! Yes! In the face!

A waste of space ...

… is what I’d consider Thomas’ article. Also called mailing one in for the weekly paycheck.

Can't Oden/Durant be seen as Kareem/Jordan?

Seems to me that would be a better comparison than the de facto Blazers draft of Bowie.

If Oden gets zero trips to the All Star game

and we get multiple trips deep into the playoffs and/or Finals with Oden as our starter, I’ll be MORE than happy with the selection. Let Kevin chuck shots up in the land of twisters.

My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
