Oden Top 5 PER Among Centers
As of November 13th, Greg is 5th among NBA centers in player efficiency rating (even though he should be 4th, Duncan is a 4). it's really early and you personally might not like this statistic, but not bad Greg, not bad at all.
After that fastbreak against the Wolves, should he be listed as a point guard?

He's now a Point Center.
He’s going to start taking guys off the dribble and breakin’ ankles.
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Now if only he could develop a 3 point shot...

nono, this has to be mcmillan's fault
if only mcmillan would give greg oden the green light to shoot the trey. Look at how well channing is doing down in Phoenix. Oden’s got way more upside than him too.
"There are a few teams you have to watch out for in the fourth quarter."
"Yeah, but Portland definitely is not one of them."
-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters at the end of the third quarter with the Hornets leading 74-59. Portland later ends up winning 97-89.
"They don't mind him shooting that shot at all. Rudy Fernandez is not that great of a 3pt shooter."
-New Orleans Hornets broadcasters right after a Rudy Fernandez missed 3pter. Rudy Fernandez finished the game with three 3pters on six attempts.

Would that make us the first team in history to have 4 starting PGs in our lineup.
That's a player, that's a team player. That's somebody that I want to go to battle with.

Ordering the list by rebounding rate
Przy is number 1 in the league at center and Oden in number three behind Tim Duncan.
Ahh, the dominance we saw last year continues.

Look at the mpg for the top 10 centers.
If Greg continues to play the way he has been, low to no fouls and turnovers, he will surpass all of these guys. – Did I mention that I cannot stand Andrew Bynum?! He is vastly overrated in my opinion. He has been playing in the league for 5 years next to a great player who makes his life easy. I cannot wait to see where Greg stands in his 5th year comparably.

I hate bynum too
but he is playing really well right now, you can’t take that away from him. Also Greg only has 2 games this year where he didn’t have foul trouble, so lets see how he does over the next few weeks before we get too amped up. I know it is easy to do, I was just telling my wife about how I was going to discribe the good old days to our kids about watching Greg play.

I hate that he is doing what the Fakers need him to do
He does look a lot healthier.
