Gameday Open Thread: Blazers vs. 'Wolves--Pre-Game and First Half

Another night, another road game against an opponent we should beat.  But the game remains to be played and plenty of things can go right and wrong.  What are your predictions?  Everybody think it's going to be Miller Time again?  Discuss the game before and during right here.  As always, stay respectful (even with opposing fans) and keep it clean and reasonably on-topic.

The high res seems to be more than some video cards can handle. I LOVE that they have it for watching on good computers, but if there is also a lower res version that would be nice. (drops to about 1 frame per 2 seconds on streams with such good resolution as this one)

It usually creates poor defensive matchups... Blake can't guard the 1, Miller can't guard the 2, Roy can't guard the 3.

We’re going to get killed against a team that has legit players at 2 of those 3 positions.

Wolves Fan Checking In

After that Gomes shot I’m totally cool if you guys want to call it even and end the game right now, perhaps go the old NHL scoring when both teams tied, each team gets a point (or a win, in this case). Just something to think about. We’re not known for our prowess in the 2nd quarter (or 3rd or 4th, for that matter)

Jerryd Bayless is not a point guard

A point guard would have passed to Webster wide open in the corner in that situation. Seriously, though, why wasn’t Outlaw holding the ball?

problem started on offense

if you’re really going to try that with the bench unit, outlaw is the guy to run the 1-4, as opposed to bayless. He can elevate and get that jumper.
