that was an ugly half
worst moment for me wasn’t even a play. It was when Andre came in off the bench and none of the Blazers on the floor knew who was being subbed out. Communication people! Also kind of sums up how the players currently have no feel for the rotation.

Pretty ugly half
though it looks like Travis is pushing it to show off for his family and friends. He had that one dunk that rendered Gay speechless, but hasn’t done much other than that.
I’d like to know why Oden was glued to the bench for the entire second quarter.

but Portland needs to get something out of the bench. Travis isn’t hitting, hopefully Rudy or Martell can provide an offensive spark

I think Mcmillian this todays game is the daily double where every foul counts twice. Oden actually has 4 fouls…thats why he didn’t play in the 2nd quarter

I know this is obvious but it seems like Nate is coaching as if we were picked to lose. We shouldn’t be adjusting our game to compete with them, we should play our game and ram it down their throats. Make them adjust to us.

If I was going to pick a guy on the blazers who breaks the opponent's back, it's
gotta be Przybilla. Past three games Oden in = ferocious defense. Then you think the plug is released from the dam when he leaves, but Przybilla comes in and just continues to hammer the boards and defend the paint.

This is my assessment as well - flip the roles of the two
However, the results are great right now. Still, Rudy’s passing/ability to move off the ball make him a great mix with the first 5, especially Andre and Greg

he gets NO plays called for him in the 4th. And he also gets much fewer called for him in the first 3 anymore either. he pretty much always gets the ball as a 2nd (or less) option

yeah
id like to see him work more on the block, but again, they are generally running Oden down there, so LMA is left to work midrange on the pick and pop.
i’d like to see him be the #1 option with the 2nd unit, which needs some help right now. Maybe get him out of the game a little earlier in the 1st quarter and bring him back at the start of the 2nd and put him on the low block while Przy sets the high picks for Rudy/Bayless/Blake.

That game was difficult to watch at times, but turned out pretty sweet.
Greg totally turned that game around. He just needs to learn how to not foul so damn early in the game!!! His +/- for this game should be pretty good. Every time he stepped on the floor we started dominating.
