Frankly, Wallace got a bad rap in Portland because people expected him to be someone he’s not (a leader).
I was a bit disapointed by Miles as well, but appart from the Cheeks accident, nothing was that bad with him…

I was ashamed for him on that one.
Then, maybe in the heat of action… I know if it was KG or Shaq who had done that, it would be the sign of their inacceptable behaviour, but Rasheed is just my favorite player all time (yes, he even surpassed Drexler, sometimes you don’t have objective reasons)

I don’t know Sabonis personally, do you? It’s entirely possible he deserved a towel thrown in his face. Who knows what was going on there. I’ve had some conflicts with people where I probably looked like a jerk to outsiders.
Sheed is awesome and his teammates love him. One little towel incident (Seriously, it’s a towel not a rock) does not make him a monster.

I can see why people don’t like Sheed. He’s got a big mouth, but at the end of the day his teammates and coaches love him.
I think that says something. All those guys probably have a better perspective on what he’s like.
To me he seems misunderstood. I’m not going to hate someone because they made a few silly minor transgression many years ago.

I kinda agree with you
and maybe Sabas was a jerk… Then you also have the Boumtje-Boumtje incident (though this one can considered a joke, of bad taste maybe, but a joke nontheless)
But the fact
that all his teamates and coaches love him should mean something as well.
I think he messed up with the towel through Sabas’ face, and that Arvydas was a wonderful player and good person, but I don’t think Sabas got half the love from his teamates Rasheed has always had wherever he played.

I was watching the university team train today, the 6’ 5" point guard nailed a three in someone’s face to win the little game they were playing.
The American coach shouted “good shot”
The player started shouting in broken English

I won't say fire nate
I know that won’t go over well. but can I at least get some acknowledgement that there are a number of other coaches in this league that could make this team better. i.e. Pop, Jackson, Sloan, Adelman, Dunleavy, Brown…
McMillan just doesn’t seem to be able to figure out how to best use the talent that he has.
The important thing is that there are currently unhired coaches who could do a better job.

We are so lucky we are playing memphis right now...
if we would have done this with San Antonio, we would be down by 20 right now. If Portland just plays a little tiny bit better in the second half then this game will comfortably be ours.
