Making the minutes work

Hypothetical distribution of minutes.  Plenty of room for one or two minute tweaking.  Blake takes the most obvious hit.  That doesn't hurt the Blazers.  Bayless, Rudy and Martell all beneft from Blake's reduction in minutes.  Outlaw doesn't get an inordinate amount of burn.  Also, all teams actually average more than 240 mpg game, but this spreadsheet does not account for overtime or 6 players on the floor.

Personally

I don’t like running LMA @ 5 for anything except a single gimmick possession. Same for running howard at center. Prz is an excellent player. I’d like to see more of him. 26 Oden/22 Pryz. Bayless catches up with Blake in minutes played. I don’t think coach will do that.

There are some nice matchups out there for LMA at the 5

Bayless catching Blake in mpg is pure fantasy – unfortunately

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
