The Novelty of basketball in OKC has worn off.
this was in the game notes of the espn recap of the blazers game, "Attendance was 16,920, about 1,100 less than capacity, for the first non-sellout in the renovated Ford Center."
the draw and novelty of basketball in OKC has worn off. losing > anything.

First line: "Brandon Roy couldn't get his shot going for a second straight night."
Ummm… didn’t Roy score over 40 last night?
Typical ESPN.
Yeah noticed that
I thought it had something to do with the blazers…….but that couldnt be so I assumed it was due to everybody who likes basketball was hungover on candy or alcohol and couldnt make it to the game.
Folks in OKC call it a rivalry
As Mike and Mike metioned last night, the people were supposed to come out to see the “Thunder” play against their “rival” the Blazers… Apparently, some folks in the OKC organization think that the Blazers are still their rival from back in the old Seattle Sonics days… Um, no. That would be incorrect… You folks left that rivalry in Seattle. Do what you need to sell tickets, but PLEASE don’t spread these types of blatant mistruths.
I buy the rivalry aspect
you think Durant isn’t trying to show the blazers brass what a mistake they made every time they play? And he’s the undisputed leader of that team, so I’d think they get pretty fired up for Blazers games.
maybe that's why he had the yips on his shooting
finally an alternate explanation to Martell’s tenacious defense (although I’d certainly like to attribute it to that).
put a body on 'em
