Trying to go to my first Blazers game.
Hey everyone,
It is my first post here on Blazersedge, but I have been reading the site since I moved down to Portland from Tacoma in May. Lately, the Blazers have become a bit of an obsession and rekindled my love of basketball. It's been awhile since I have been to a pro basketball game (2005 I think) and its not like basketball has been a real hot topic up in the Seattle area.
Anyways, I just had a few questions about tickets. I am trying to get some for the game on Friday Nov. 6th against the Spurs. I want to find two tickets between $50 and $75 each. I checked some out on stub hub and found a lot of tickets available, but was unsure of which what area is best to sit in my price range. Should I stick to center court seats or are corner seats okay? Also, any good places near the Rose Garden where my friend and I can grab a few beers before the game? Thanks in advance for the help!
GO BLAZERS!!

I use Craigslist to get tickets personally...
I personally like to sit somewhere near center court. I just have a thing with being behind a basket . I would rather sit center court in the upper level than at an angle in the 200 section of the lower level. For $50 a piece, you should be able to get some of the best seats the 300 level has to offer…

I think your right, first couple rows in 300 center court or on the corners in 200 level. I’m in 109 1/2 season pass and you couldent pry me away from my seats, the corner is great, excelent actually on the second half when they are on my end of the floor. I have been there 4 seasons now, this being # 5. I come to every seat selection and haven’t found ones I liked better yet for the money.

My Advice
I’d go for any of the lower-seats in the upper deck in section 301, 302, 334, 317, 318, or 319. These seats have a face-value of about $49, and you get a good view of the game.
If you buy on stubhub, go for one that allows electronic delivery if possible, as this means you don’t have any shipping charges.

Use the Blazer Ticket Marketplace at Blazers.com
100% reliable, you actually pick your tickets up at Will Call at the RG.

I've got four tickets for sale to that game.
The face value is $49, but since it’s your first game you can have them (2 or all 4) for $30 each and save some cash for the overpriced Rose Garden Beers.
They are hard tickets in section 333 (row N), which is on the down by the baseline on the sideline. Look them up on trailblazers.com and see if you’re interested.
I’m going to the game too. I could get you the tickets early or meet you before the game.

White Eagle on Russell just off Interstate
Ice cold $2 Rainier long necks, $4 happy hour cheeseburger…a long enough walk to be able to find parking on the street, clear your head from the Rainiers, and to let traffic clear after the game. It is a 10 minute walk and right by a Max stop if you must ride.
