Help! Cool Experience at Away games. Last year I remember some fans in an away city emailing mike barrett and MB pulling some strings to help them meet a few of the guys & get better tickets. I live in Southern Cal (San Diego) & don't get to go to any games. I'd be all over the fanfest type stuff if I lived in Portland. I want to take my 5 and 7 year old daughter to the Clippers Blazers pre season game tomorrow. I'm hoping they can get an autograph or pic with one of the blazers. Anyone remember who the previous poster emailed to get a few strings pulled?
Hoping for a "mini fan fest" for a few young girls that I'm trying to teach the religion of blazer basketball, down here among the unsaved LA Clanker souls.
Thanks, Andy

PS: I'll post my first hand impressions of the game on Bedge after the game.
We all know what K*be did in Colorado to that girl. Dear Lord, please let whatever team that plays the LA Clankers beat them to oblivion. Amen.

This is from memory so it might not be completely accurate
but I believe they open up the arena like an hour or so before the game and that’s usually about when the players get done warming up, so they’ll usually let you go down on the first level and get near the players at this time. From there you can hit them up for pictures or autographs.

Yes, one hour early. Get there on time
We battled traffic to get to Arco Arena last night, and unfortunately the Blazers were already done at 6:20 The Kings were still practicing. My kids, 4 and 6 loved their first experience at a basketball game; and we will go again. Wear Blazer gear, its a great “press pass” because the ushers know you are a die hard fan. My son was in a Greg Oden shirt, and he was yelling Go Blazers, and Go Oden throughout the game. Great game., great memories.

And the TV guys are there you can go up to them before the game, the Mikes are always happy to talk to fellow Blazers fans on the road.
