The Dream Shake's Houston Season Preview
I had been thinking of doing an Ambassadors Preview but there is no way I do it even a small fraction as well as Tom Martin did. So check out this extremely thorough preview. A tip of the NBA cap to Tom.

if they didn't have yao for the series with us do they still win?
The Faith don't panic, the faith freaks out, burns out farms, and torchs small villages in the name of The Faith.

Not a chance
That first game was all Yao and the havoc he wrought. Blazers win the first game, Blazers win the series—that simple.

Big no.
Yao single handed ripped the Blazers to shreds.
We put all our weight into holding him back (and even then, the success was so-so), which left us with nothing for the Brooks, Wafers, Scolas, & Artests.
Yao was awesome in that series, and every other Rocket got great stats because of it.
*Unless KP has a secret plan that makes this statement incorrect.

"Fernandez, to my eyes, is the Blazer who walks that walk most comfortably. A lot of Portland's fans (egged on, dare I say, by their local broadcasters) lament things like how Ron Artest or Yao Ming get to hit Brandon Roy's arms.
But I suspect Fernandez sees all that and thinks: We get to hit arms! Cool!"

I don't think so. That first quarter in game 1 where Yao was like 9 for 11 I think really set the tone for the entire series.
If we didn’t have to double down on Yao, Scola wouldn’t have murdered us with that infuriatingly consistent wide open elbow jumper, and the lane wouldn’t have been as open for Brooks to dissect our defense.
This year, the speedy midget PG’s are going to be less of a concern if Miller is playing, cuz they will NOT be able to stop him in the post. We already got a taste of it last night. He plays as well as a big down there.
