outlaw was facing the basket on that shot attempt by the way, so the ball actually ended up further from the hoop after he shot it than before he shot it, without it hitting another player or the rim or anything

He gets the ball on the right side of the court. He beats his man by dribbling left into the key just inside the free throw line. He picks up his dribble and transfers the ball to his left hand looking to shoot. He goes up for what looks like a finger roll from 14 feet, he shoots the finger roll, the ball goes directly backwards over his own head, although he doesn’t react at all like it slipped, and winds up in a defender’s lap before hitting the floor.
