Scooped you by two minutes.
But I’ll take mine down.
Sounds interesting. I hope it has some basis in reality.

Yeah me too
I hope that any sort of subscription would be cheaper than NBA League Pass

Blazers: please make this inexpensive and HD quality and I will buy it.

Frankly, I'd pay the same price as NBA Leaguepass Broadband.
Since the Blazers are the only team I watch anyway. I think it ran $100 last season? I can’t remember anymore….

I would put the price at no more than $2 per game or $100 per season.
But then I’m a well known socialist. If the quality is crappy, then less.

This must be the "New Option" that I posted about a month ago.
Blazers: New Option to Comcast Coming This Season
Sarah Mensah, Chief Marketing Officer of the Blazers on 95.5 today responded to questions about the Comcast situation.
""We aren’t planning to go into this next season without an option for fans. .. Look for us to have a different situation as we go into this next season with Comcast, no matter what. … I think we are exploring a multitude of different possibilities for what it could be … not ready to really talk about what specifically is on the table, but I think fans should rest assured we’re not going to go into the season again this coming year with the same situation where there aren’t any options."

Thank you!
Sarah, you have FINALLY listened to the true fans here. Thank you. We were beginning to think that the Blazers were forgetting about many of us out here who have been left hanging and who refuse to pay the ransom Comcast has been asking for. I truly hope to high heaven you’re not looking to profit even more from your fans here by charging us for the privilege. This may seem like a good idea to you and may indeed be another nice revenue stream for you, but in the end us fans will resent you. Seriously. Of course they’ll pay and appear to be very happy, but deep down and over time we will resent you for sure… Godpseed and please make some good decisions here with the fans in mind. Thank you from the bottom of my red & black blazer heart…

This person does have Comcast available to them. However, this person absolutely refuses to change providers and does so as a matter of principle, not because he is cheap. Like I said, you must be a Comcast employee because you’re just not seeing the bigger picture here. The bigger picture is that Comcast made this $10 million/year deal with the Blazers with both of them agreeing that they would give access to the other providers “in good faith.” Comcast have made their true monopolistic move here by not getting this deal done in hopes that people will blindly flock to their service like sheeple (people that are sheep). I am not a farm animal. Many, many others are and no doubt Comcast has benefited greatly here. I stand here with my wonderful service of Direct TV and refuse to play this game of chase the corporation into oblivion. Many of my friends and associates feel the very same way and aren’t going to be bullied by a corporation. There is no shame in this nor are we as good consumers trying to shame anyone else. It is a simple fact that if the Blazers want to take even more money out of our pockets for what is indeed our right as cable/dish/etc subscribers we will feel resentment. Tis’ not out of cheapness my dear, but out of principle. Something I fear is very lost in this most consumer and profiteering based economy that we call America…
