Hardwood Paroxysm on Blazers 2009-10
This article by Matt Moore published on Oct. 1 by Hardwood Paroxysm is interesting for it's outsider's take and has a few choice lines:
======================
" Jerryd Bayless (swoon)? Stewing. Waiting, watching, probably planning on cutting Steve Blake’s brakes. Bayless may not have done enough to earn a spot in McMillan’s rotation (whenever the words "must improve on defense" are said about Bayless, on that crap defensive squad, my blood boils), but surely he’s valuable enough to trade, right? If you’re not going to use him? And that’s all before you get to the veiled threats from Andre Miller. You know, "the missing piece?" Miller doesn’t seem to be integrating. Mostly because he hasn’t been able to practice since he failed his conditioning test, which is an awesome way to start the season. Getting out-conditioned by 58 year old Greg Oden. Conversely, Roy keeps talking about how comfortable he is with Steve Blake."

To be fair, Moore does conclude with this:
But then, that’s really the best part about the Blazers. No matter what happens, or how long they’ve been together, they are imminently, incredibly, and impressively watchable.
He’ll get some blog hits, but seems to me he’s just trying to stir us up and generate some buzz.
Some people should be more carefull when they write.
They run the risk of sounding like an idiot. For Moore, it is no longer a risk, but a fact.
He probably does the best job of proving his is but another uninformed opinion when he slams Blake’s 3pt shooting, only to have to correct it. And 58 yr old Greg? How outdated and useless is that reference?
My adive is he should sti with writing about his team. Seeing as how he wiffed big time with this pei e

I think this says it all.
I mean, I’m definitely the old guy waiting for his lunch who is then mad you put carrots in his soup because I HATE CARROTS.
"Fernandez, to my eyes, is the Blazer who walks that walk most comfortably. A lot of Portland's fans (egged on, dare I say, by their local broadcasters) lament things like how Ron Artest or Yao Ming get to hit Brandon Roy's arms.
But I suspect Fernandez sees all that and thinks: We get to hit arms! Cool!"

"I told Pau the Lakers never win here in Portland; I think it's great." -- Rudy Fernandez
This is why censorship is necessary.
The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.
