Greg Oden Full-court Fast Break
OK, that's it. Now I'm excited !!!
"Toward the end of practice Saturday morning, during a drill which involves a three-on-two situation at one end, that turns into a two-on-one at the other, Dante Cunningham decided to challenge Oden at the rim. Oden cuffed the shot attempt in his right hand, and then took off with the ball. Cunningham, in a full sprint (and isn't a slow guy), couldn't catch Oden, who dribbled coast to coast and slammed the ball down with two hands. While maintaining professionalism, the players erupted. Oden, who hung on to the rim and swung completely under, landed, and while laughing, flew up into the air and did a full body bump with Martell Webster."

it also underscores the continued excellence and evolution of Nate as coach.

The weak died along the way
Only the strong survived

Which is something I argued about way back when
Many people have, and likely will critique Nate’s coaching. My point has been that nate makes mistakes, but he also learns from them and you really don’t see him make them again the following season. Additionally, they’re not always mistakes, but sometimes we fans just don’t know the whole information. an example? Rudy was a spot up three point shooter. That was bad for Rudy but good for the team because he could play off sergio where sergio could NOT play off Rudy.
Nate has done an amazing job and I continue to believe he’ll be able to get us to the promised land.
"Fernandez, to my eyes, is the Blazer who walks that walk most comfortably. A lot of Portland's fans (egged on, dare I say, by their local broadcasters) lament things like how Ron Artest or Yao Ming get to hit Brandon Roy's arms.
But I suspect Fernandez sees all that and thinks: We get to hit arms! Cool!"

What Mike 1 edited out was
the last part of the final sentence, which finished with “and proceeded to knock poor Martell right on his [bum].”

Hmm, if I had the chance to do a body bump with Greg
would it be worth the hospitalization?
Disclaimer: everything I know about basketball I learned on Blazersedge.

3-on-2/2-on-1
is my very favorite basketball drill. Loved it as a player, and when coaching it’s a drill I use to reward a solid practice while still finding teachable moments. Too much fun.

It would make my year
if Greg got a fast break poster dunking on Lebron next season.

that's impressive.
After watching some video of Bynum and Oden in their respective training camps, it was a tie for me as to who looked better. But after hearing this, I’m leaning more towards Oden now. Dante is an athletic and quick player. For Oden even to run with him in a full court sprint tells me he has got at least some of that pre-injury speed back. Go get ’em Greg!

Barrett has always been the first "media member" to toot Oden's horn.
