Where's Blake?
Blake is our starter so far this season. He was picked starter over Andre Miller because of his long range shot, opening the lane, making it better for B Roy, LMA and other players to penetrate. So far Blake has shot 22.2% from the floor averaging just 3.5PPG. If this keeps up.. what's the point of starting Blake? I know, its only been 2 games but... its something to think about. We all know Miller is better than Blake at pretty much everything except shooting and if Blake's shot isn't going to go in then why not start Andre? I'd say to give Blake 10 more games to see if he steps up to make some shots. What do you guys think about Blake's first 2 games, who should start? Do you agree with me?

I think he's in OKC
seriously, though, has anyone heard any news of Steve’s left knee? Blake limped off early in the game, and even though he came back later, those things have a way of swelling up, later.
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!

It probably means more to Andre Miller to start.
Neither have demonstrated that they are good defensive players this year. They’re both getting beat and caught in switches. Miller was better offensively tonight because he could take Brooks in the post and Blake couldn’t shoot.
I get a sense that Blake wouldn’t get butthurt coming off the bench and the same isn’t true for Miller. They’d probably both play better.

Not worried. Blake took a few weeks to get back to normal last year. Remember everyone was wondering when he was going to pull his head
out and he finally came around.

I'm honestly more concerned with why Martell isn't playing more minutes
with how well he’s been playing than why Blake has been playing so many minutes with how badly he’s been playing… oh wait those 2 might be related somehow.

18 points, 3 assists, 1 turn over 4-5 three pointers vs OKC. Not his best game ever, but...
Zed, this thread is dead.
