Roy should be the 4th quarter point guard in tight games like last year

Roy should be our 4th quarter point guard in tight games. Not Miller or Blake.  Our most athletic players and best  finishers are:  Oden, LA, Webster and/or Rudy and/or Outlaw and Roy.  That combination was not used tonight against Denver and it cost us the game.  We don't really capitalize on our athleticism as much as we could.  This combination makes us so much more athletic and very hard to defend.

Also, this Miller versus Blake debate is affecting the blazers chemistry negatively.  Neither one of them deserves to finish based upon their performance against Denver.

It isn't just thier performance against Denver

Both point guards also stunk during preseason and against Houston.

I agree with you

put rudy to defend the PG
he´s as bad as Blake and Miller.
Man, too bad that Bayless also stinks, he would have a chance if he could shoot the 3 well.

i agree completely

BRoy must have told Nate privately that he detests playing the point at all times or something.

You need to have your 5 best guys on the floor to finish the game. To me, they are BRoy, Rudy, WEbster, LMA and GO. There is not a team in the league that has 3 wing players that Rudy cannot defend, so just put him on the other team’s weakest wing and we are set.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
