Quick Podcast
If you go to about 15:00 in there is some serious hate coming from JQ towards Ben and his charting of Odens touches. Apparently even some coming from Nate as well. Interesting.....seemed very defensive.

Good
Keep ‘em coming, Ben. Change doesn’t happen without friction
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
Gotta side with Ben on this one
I’ll give Nate & Co the benefit of the doubt for about 20 games, but after that, I’m going to start getting upset.
If you want to maximize your REGULAR season wins this year, then by all means continue to treat Oden as simply a one-way player who might get some garbage buckets here and there. But if you want to maximize your regular season wins over the next 5 years, and have any chance at winning a title, then you have to start developing him on the offensive end – even if it costs you a few games this year.
And another thing – one of the best ways to buy Greg an extra foul or two a game is to make the refs think long and hard (subconsciously or consciously) about calling cheap fouls on him. Refs have NO qualms about calling tick tack fouls on one-dimensional big men. But if you assert him as a two-way player – a marquee guy the league starts marketing – then they are going to give him the benefit of the doubt a LOT more often.
How did you guys win that?
"We scored enough points. We scored 107, they scored 105.
-Nate McMillan Postgame, 3/4/2009
"You know, I still see this as a fan". Wow, I laughed so hard. How is that in contrast to how Ben and other see it?
But slowly things happen that they cannot help and the Blazers Fellowship of the Ring begins to break apart
