Reason #24 to see "Birdman" get dunked on by the Blazers.
The fact that he actually FITS into this scene.
I really don't think this one needs any sort of explanation. I am so happy someone was willing to take the time and photoshop the beloved Andersen into what would seem to be a very likely situation for him. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
Andersen appeared in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest during NBA All-Star Weekend in 2004 and 2005. In a sideline interview during the 2005 Dunk Contest, he uttered his now famous line, "It's time for the Birdman to fly."

Dude, those kids could NOT hang with party-mode Birdman.
They just couldn’t. He’d break them. They’d be oozing Heineken and Jager out of their eyes and ears.

Those guys look more like the Deron Williams or Andrei Kirilenko fan club
But slowly things happen that they cannot help and the Blazers Fellowship of the Ring begins to break apart

I envision a Birdman fan club leader to resemble the following:

"Ain't nothin' in this world for free."

This should have been a fanshot, like the dozen or so others you've posted there.
Someone has a jones for the Birdman.

LOOKOUT!!! ITS THE FANPOST POLICE!!!!
I tried to make it in a fanpost but the picture wouldn’t link correctly. I actually had quite the opposite of a “jones”(didn’t know people still used this word) for Andersen. Infact I have an anti-“jones” and that’s point of these postings. Thanks for your Sherlock-esque detective work on my postings though, it was truly a much needed comment.

No need to get snarky.
He brings up a good point. It would have been much nicer and cleaner if you put all of your Anderson hate into one single fanshot for everyone to enjoy and comment on.

snarky?
I gave you the reason why I couldn’t fanshot it already, so there… and uhh he didn’t make the point that it should all be together. He said it should’ve been a fanshot, and it couldn’t. Thank you as well for your contructive criticism, I stopped posting anything about Birdman because he seems to be a Blazer fan favorite somehow ;-)

Because the guy has struggled with tough times, and has had a REAL LIFE version of life that most of us know about.
He was not some snot nosed silver spoon punk that was told since he was 12 years old he would be millionaire someday playing in the NBA, everyone in his life kissing ass trying to get a piece of the pie. The guy hit bottom, pulled his life together, and now comes to work and gives his team 110% every night. He is Denver’s Joel. I think people don’t like him based on his looks alone.
