PrintMy wife is a speech language pathologist, and one of the ways she gets kids to practice their sounds is with a series of games and toys. Since some of them are junior high and high school age, she decided to make life-life cut outs of various Blazers, with outfits to mix and match. We've been practicing with our 2 year old, and she is getting good at "Joel Przybilla needs pants." Here are some bad photos of the pieces of the game:

It has been here for at least a few years.
Another great restaurant is Red Star. The building itself isn’t as good looking as Fenouil, but the food is really tasty and the service is good. It can be a little pricey as you’ll be paying around 35 dollars per entree, but you’re loaded and it’s worth every penny.

They play at the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall every New Years Eve. You’ll miss the ball drop in NYC, but watching that is overrated. I go every year and I usually reserve my place at Red Star, which is a short walk away, for some post-concert dining. Just a suggestion.

have you been to Vegas in New Years??? i thought Vegas was much more fun than NYC for New Years

try Belly Timber on Hawthorne… just ate there Sat. and it was good, fancy food, but not too spendy (I think the priciest thing was $24) If you stay on the East side the prices are better (so is the food usually)

I don’t think I’ve ever made a trade before the start of the season in any fantasy sport. I like to wait and then pounce on good players that get off to slow starts and sell high on some fluky hot starts.

I do know that OSU had only one starter returning on the line. Also they are starting a true freshman at LT (although to be fair, Philipp is/will be an absolute monster on the left side).

Anyone notice that the first 5 or 6 games, every single time Masoli got tackled

The BCS is so ridiculous. It makes the stat geeks take margin of victory out of their computer rankings.
That’s like telling the pollsters they aren’t allowed to watch the games— they just have to go by who won. If you are going to make stat geeks a part of the process, let them make the dang rankings the way that they’ve shown is most accurate.
Iowa is #1 in the computer rankings for the BCS but #12(!) if you go by margin of victory. Absurd.

The last 2 weeks haven’t been impressive, but their early season dominance, in particular their outstanding win over Virginia Tech makes them well deserving of their current spot in the BCS. If they don’t correct their recent offensive struggles, they might not stay there though.

The game is nice but has much more frame-rate issues than previous versions, and some bad glitches that you’re not used to from the series (e.g. an unusable D-League option, hopefully they’ll bug fix that). Live is seriously rivaling it not just in the usual pretty graphics but in a lot of ways.
