I agree with Ditez – good read. Well written and KP2 makes a solid case for LMAs contract being right on target considering the comparables. I hope that this will convince those that say LMA was overpaid, that they are incorrect in thinking that. LMAs new contract is exactly on target for a player like LaMarcus Aldridge.

It won't convince me that he isn't overpaid
But sometimes it is best to overpay.
The right price, to me, is the one where our players enjoy the team enough that they get their big contracts for some sort of tiny discount.
But I would rather overpay LMA than pay my “right price” for mostly any other comparable PF.
He is a great player and he has put in the time to get to where he is now.
*Unless KP has a secret plan that makes this statement incorrect.
