LaMarcus Aldridge Got Locked Up

This afternoon, Kevin Pritchard formally announced the contract extension of power forward LaMarcus Aldridge at the Blazers practice facility. In true "Texas Boy" fashion, Aldridge showed up to accept his 5 year, roughly $65 million dollar deal in a xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxl white t-shirt. Clearly, Dem Franchise Boyz will need to do an LMA Remix.

Here's a quick video of LaMarcus Aldridge emerging through a crowd wearing "I Love LA" t-shirts and taking the stage for his press conference.

I think there are not many players we could get that will be better

in the years to come. I also really like the improvement LMA makes in his game each year and the fact that he continues to look stronger. I think it’s a great move.

Well, it's not my money....

It is more than he is CURRENTLY worth, though he might be a good deal by the time his contract runs out.

However, it doesn’t seem bad at all when you think about it in the context of Hedo Turkoglu…

The important thing is that I am REALLY happy he got locked up with us. I love LMA and will be cheering for him big time.

*Unless KP has a secret plan that makes this statement incorrect.
