Freeland will play in the NBA, and Claver will also.
I still don’t think Koponen will.

Never liked what I saw out of Koponen at the SL's he played in...
Improvement is def needed for him to make it to the nba…

I agree with this take
If Kopo ever does, it will be as a deep deep bench player on a team with poor depth (not Portland)

Concurred
Kopo benefits from being an exotique, and his nice height. I kinda hope we sell high.

I wouldn't give up on the Finn quite yet
He got hot from outside a couple of games this summer and I saw 2 different references re his improved defense

I love British humor.
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

That was a joke?
I can tell you how to make an Excel spreadsheet that proves Portland wins 62 games this year.

not a joke...
but playing on the Oden Smash comments we get around here, can’t you imagine a front court tandem someday nicknamed Bangers and sMash?

Freeland's range has increased
Before this year he never tried to shoot 3’s. Now he is shooting (international range) 3’s when he is left open, and seems to be connecting at a decent rate. That is a good sign that Freeland is continuing to improve, especially since he does not seem to be in any danger of falling in love with his jump shot and still gets most of his points on high-percentage shots around the basket.
