That's my guy
I love how Martell is looking, he has some rust but once he shakes it, it’s lights out

I had forgotten how awesome he was
When he was out last year.

Highlighted at spots 9 and No 1!
Like the orig post says, Martell earned two spots in the countdown:
#9 @ 0:19 – Ally Opp Dunk from Ime
#1 @ 2:17 – Block on D, then 2pt spin move + the and-one
So very good, for so much more than just his long ball!

Love Martell
I don’t understand what Ben was talking about in his recap.

Martell is money kids
If he can work on his explosiveness he’ll be ready to ball

He's got some rust now, for sure
But he’s busting his hump trying to make plays and he’s starting to look like the Martell of old, though he still has a little ways to go. Once this rust starts coming off he’s going to force some decisions in Blazerland.
I doubt it’s in the cards long term, or even past this season, to keep all of Rudy/TO/Webs/Batum. At least two of those guys are gone. It’s almost a given that one of them is TO. And unfortunately, I don’t think we’re ever going to find enough minutes for Rudy unless we decide to make Roy the PG.
That leaves a primary rotation of Martell as the backup to Roy/Batum, with Bayless, Cunningham and maybe Claver eventually providing backup minutes as necessary.
Watching it all unfold over time will, hopefully, be the best part.

Yeah, we're gonna trade them for big chunks of aluminum foil that we can shape into the form of hats or decorative ashtrays...

Backups? We don’t need no stinking backups!!!
I think the Blazers could run a 7 man roster and get up to the league minumum by signing a rotating series of Special Olympians and Make a Wish kids to one day contracts.
