George Karl says Andre Miller is "top 7 PG"
Miller has also earned the praises of George Karl, who had the opportunity to coach him when he took over the Nuggets coaching position.
"For me, Andre is a wonderful point guard. I am a huge Andre Miller fan," Karl said. "I think he is a top 7 point guard in the league, and has been for many years. He is quiet and doesn't get the recognition that he deserves. I think he will be better the more familiar he gets with these players and the more familiar he gets with their offense."
When Karl became the head coach in Denver, it was Miller who helped make the transition easier for both Karl and the team.
"I have always joked that when I came to Denver in the middle of the season, my name was the head coach, but Andre Miller really coached the team for about two weeks. He called the plays. He would call plays, and I would go 'what's that?'. He knew the playbook and he knew the concepts. We ran one play tonight for Chauncey, and we called it in the 4th quarter, and he (Andre) knew it. Our guys don't even know the play and he knew it. So that's the type of quarterback and leader you have."

it’s a goldmine…LMA’s house is for sale? Sounds like he’s soon to be “a-movin’ on up” to the big time!

Chris Paul
Deron Williams
Tony Parker
Steve Nash
Chauncy Billups
Rajon Rondo
Andre Miller?
Baron Davis
I’m guessing that he is saying Miller is better than Baron or Rondo. That’s high praise.
Better than Jameer Nelson as well
And Nelson was an All-Star.
Jason Kidd is on the downslope but still a really good PG. Until Davis plays a whole season like he cares he does not belong on the list (my opinion).
Top 5 here seems pretty sure. Not sure who would be six.

Karl wants to keep Andre from revenge
For trading him for AI. How many times do you think Karl yelled at management over that blunder?

I had always understand that Karl played a role in personel decisions

George Karl has always been a guy who seems divided with management.
It happened in Seattle with Wally Walker and I’m sure it’s happened elsewhere.
Stupid people have stupid ideas.
Wark made it up to him
by getting Billups, the Nugs were thisclose to imploding, before the Chauncey deal
I’m still waiting for KP to make a Gasol/Billups-level trade…looks like I’ll be waiting for awhile, now

…waiting for the Billup’s level deal?
Have you heard of Andre Miller?
Yeah, I know, Billups is SO good with the nuggets now. But a ton of people didn’t think it would go down the best before it happened.
We’re at the same place right now with Miller. These deals are only magnificent with hindsight.
The Gasol deal on the other hand…

I like Andre
but his acquisition wasn’t exactly a “slap”
(more like a “face saving” gesture, after getting slapped by Hedo’s wife)

Whenever people talk about the immense importance of BBIQ, Andre Miller comes to mind.
On the other hand, it’s Travis Outlaw who comes to mind when people talk about a lack of BBIQ.
Stupid people have stupid ideas.
Nice irrelevent insult.

that just means
you want Andre feeding Travis with a perfect bounce pass on the fast break, like Sunday night
and not the other way around

I've always loved Miller.
I’m pretty darn happy to have him on our team.

That's a funny anecdote about Andre knowing Denver's plays better than Denver!!
I didn't mean to turn you on
