help! jersey's for women

Hey folks,

I know this is a family site, but I need some help. I am trying to purchase a jersey for my girlfriend to wear in situations such as, going to games, going to the bar, weddings, meeting my friends, etc. Anyhow, she is very curvy, of the 36-26-36 variety. Anyhow, i've seen many, many girls looking dead-sexy in jerseys, and I want to know which size will look the best [on my girlfriend]. If you're one of those girls [ed note: send a picture!] or your girlfriend is one of those girls, or your friend/associate/frienemy is one, let me know what size jersey you think fits best. I also want something that will compliment my Red Swingman #7 jersey, so a color/player combo suggest would be cool.

Thanks!

the women's jersey's are fitted

so make sure you buy one that gives her room for her curves. Probably a M or L if she’s average height and size.

by bustabucket on Oct 13, 2009 6:50 AM PDT reply actions

but don't you want it to be tight?

Disclaimer: everything I know about basketball I learned on Blazersedge.

by pualo on Oct 13, 2009 12:11 PM PDT up reply actions

maybe, maybe not

He may want it tight on her, she may not.

Tight gives you no room to breathe, fitted makes it look nice if you have the right body.

I don't think he's going to get (m)any useful responses using that method.

If you know her size just go to a shop assistant and ask for the jersey in that size.
If you don’t know her size look for a woman of your gf’s size in the store and ask her what size she uses (and just in case, lead the question with “I want to buy my gf a jersey”).

so... i'm lost

what is everyone thinking?

"Fernandez, to my eyes, is the Blazer who walks that walk most comfortably. A lot of Portland's fans (egged on, dare I say, by their local broadcasters) lament things like how Ron Artest or Yao Ming get to hit Brandon Roy's arms.

But I suspect Fernandez sees all that and thinks: We get to hit arms! Cool!"

Tom is trying to be cool and pretend

To know what we are talking about.

Us ladies are commenting on the uuber lame pink Roy jersey.

What idiotic marketing department thinks that female Blazer fans want or need a pink jersey, or a beaded tank top? Just cuz we are girls does NOT mean we have to wear stereo-typical clothing for women at a sporting event. Why can’t they make us a jersey that fits appropriately for women’s hips and boobs that don’t look like they were made by Baby Phat?

And now I just offended everyone who ever bought their girlfriend a Pink and or Bedazzled Blazer uniform. Sorry. That’s why I didn’t want to get started on it.

I’m sure your girlfriends <3 the jerseys and look cute in them. I personally hate the clothing for women (except for the new white female jerseys- the only exception).

Well said.

The NBA is missing out on a big marketing opportunity. Pink and glittery is not the answer.

So true.

Tired of the assumption that all female sports fans are super tacky. Put down the bedazzler and give us something legit.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside.
