Don't forget...
it was also Joel Freeland’s first game. He’s not as skilled, but he plays above the rim, as you can see.

You get an assist ;)
Joel Freeland stats:
23:09 min, 17 points, 7/9 2p, 1/1 3p, 0/2 1p, 5 reb, 1 to, 3 blocks. Boxscore
Dude, between the 30 points, the athleticism he shows in these clips, the size he's got...
…and add in the fact that he’ll be 24 years old by mid-season next year…
…Joel Freeland, I’ve gotta think, has the KP front office pretty happy…
…if we can get him over here next year, I don’t care if he’s a rookie, with his experience, size, & age, he should definately be a “banger” that can help us out at the PF & Center positions…
I’m glad Claver looks good, but the roster as we’ve got it currently, with Roy/Fernandez/Webster/Batum as our wings, I don’t see him helping us anytime soon, Freeland, I’m psyched about…it is unbelievable how deep we are, when you add in guys like Freeland…
The only way to get Freeland over here is to use a mid-level exception,
and no one knows if that is legal under the CBA. (We can pay Freeland whatever we want because he was drafted more than 3 years ago, but we will be over the cap so we need to use the mid-level exception to attract him and that has never been done before,) Storyteller was going to pass that question on to Tom Penn, but he hasn’t reported back yet.
