I find it highly questionable. Preseason games don’t prove that a guy is able to play in the NBA. Lots of guys play in preseason games who can never make it in the league.

It also seems odd that a guy who is suspended is allowed to play in preseason games, if they count for anything at all.

More fodder for the appeal, I suppose.

Darius was waived this AM by Memphis.

They didn’t want to guarantee his salary for the rest of the year – even though it was the minium. I don’t know where he goes from here. After all, given Memphis’s record and need for help, if he can’t stick with them – I don’t know who’s next on the list.
