Joel vs Tyson. Is this the 3rd time Chandler has gotten ejected at the Rose Garden? I hate that SOB.

Wow.

Look at how how hard he hits Joel in the wrist. That is unbelievable.

Friday’s incident began to pick up steam around the seven-minute mark of the third quarter. The two were banging back and forth — like most centers do — but Przybilla said Chandler kept an incessant whining dialogue going with the referees, who were down a man after Jack Nies was unable to make the game because of an injury.

"I told him he cries more than my 3-year-old son," Przybilla said. "He got mad."

On the ensuing possession, Przybilla reached out with his injured left hand and touched the stomach of Chandler. Chandler angrily swatted the hand down.

"I didn’t know he had a bad hand," Chandler said. "No. Not at all."

He paused.

"If he is worried about that, he should keep it off people," Chandler said.

Przybilla sent a quick slap to Chandler’s chest, which caused the Hornets center to throw what Przybilla called a "chicken wing" — a hard forearm that landed high on Przybilla’s chest, just below his throat.

That is outstanding

Chandler cannot control himself. I wish we had won, then NO could blame the loss on Chandler for losing his cool.

Tyson's Chicken Wings

Anybody notice the Tyson chicken advertisement featured today on the BE web pages? Kind of funny.

What an idiot. HE HAD IT WRAPPED UP.

Comments on the you tube page

There are lots of standard idiotic comments on the you tube page. Kind of funny to hear people sticking up for Chandler though.

Also I do not believe that he didn’t know about Joel’s broken hand. That would be in the most basic of scouting reports.

I have to say I like Chandler

He and Joel have a ton of similarities, they stick up for themselves and their teammates, and they are big physical players. I think that’s the reason why they rub each other the exact wrong way, I love their lowpost battles. I mean while I want him to play horribly against the Blazers, its one of those match-ups I have a great time watching. Roy and Billups is another one of my favorites, Steve Blake vs. Steve Nash is another just really fun match-up to watch, and LA and Sheed. While we end up usually with the short side of the stick on these match-ups, as a basketball fan, dang they are fun to watch.

I think we see Chandler how a lot of teams, see Joel, extra physical for no real reason except to wear his opponent down, which is just a ton of fun to watch.

Agreed to a certain extent

The difference between Joel and Tyson is Tyson over reacting and throwing that chicken wing punch. Joel doesn’nt do that, but he does get in people’s heads.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
