What I don't remember about Tonight, and what you don't either
This is a little place of Blazersedge where you can recap what you remember about tonights game against the Hornet's. Or more importantly, what you don't remember. I am going to write this piece as if I had NOT gone to the game and watched Chris Paul sink shot after shot over my portland pinwheels. I will write this as if I went to the game to buy expensive beer and people-watch.
We all have off nights. Move on. Forget the bad and tell me the good. Like what pizza you ate at home while watching this game (did we win?), or where you went for post-game libations. I, like most Blazer fans, tend to remember the good times more so then the bad times. What happened tonight? All I remember is my date ditched me, that could of have been bad, but I forgot about it. I got more options.
Who is there to come through? My mom of course.
My mom is the coolest, she enjoys the half time entertainment more then the game. She only likes the Blazers cause I do. Any of you guys brought a lady like that? Or ladies, perhaps you know a dude who needs to get off the warcraft and check our the real craft of war, on hardwood instead of online.
That's how it should be sometimes, when you don't remember the bad times your only memories are of those sweet and ripe moments of life. I mean, if you attend a good number of home games like I do you look forward to the T-Shirt toss, and the blimp... Hey! Why didn't we get the Ford blimp flight tonight? My mom was waiting patiently to watch the envelops fall from the floating automobile. No joke, last game against Boston, I took her for her first Blazer game ever, and one of her many funny statements was "Where are the strings on that thing?...".
She also likes to ask me where the person who is being shown on the jumbo-tron is actually sitting at in the area, I know where a few of the regulars are, but that Darth Vader guy tonight had me searching, turns out he was right down in front of me in the 200 level, who enjoys watching an entire game in a Darth Vader Mask? Do you BEdge mister Vader mask dude? How can you even see in that thing?
So to everyone who is still up this late at night, and at home or somewhere near a computer, let's pretend we are here to talk about something other than... Oh wait, I can't Remember...

I don't remember
when I was sitting in the 6th row and the lady seated to my left asked me not to lean forward cause it blocked her view.
I mean, if I remembered that it would be a pretty odd thing for a person to ask at a sporting event.
Can the Blazers run some drills in practice for the point guards to fight through screens? I’ve seen enough of Oden guarding point guards on the perimeter and Blake trying to front the post on power forwards. That’s another thing I’d like to not remember.

+1
That Armstong putback while Oden was 25 feet away from the basket trying to chase Chris Paul summed up an entire season of subpar pick and roll defense for me. Teams that can run the pick and roll effectively really give the Blazers problems

I remember Vodka Crans I drank and . . .
the short stint where the Blazers ran.
West hitting everything he threw up.
CP3 shredding us in the fourth!
Joel bringing his lunch pail.
Ike bumbling.
Rudy draining a 3 and another.
Outlaw throwing the worst telegraphed pass in the
history of the NBA.
NO getting pumped up from losing T. Chandler.
and driving home pissed !
It's GO time !

last nights pizza
was one of those Safeway made frozen variety- their supreme. It was awful. The cardboard plate it was on would have had more flavor then the crust and the pepperoni was brown.
The other thing that cant go unmentioned is the sausage. Typically sausage is something I never get on a pizza, unless its Mendi’s in Independences Mustang, with hot cheese, thats real sausage and arguably the best pizza on the planet. However when I pick off the turds they call sausage and my dog lifts his nose and gives me a “whats that?” look I have to wonder what they’re really made of.
I blame that pizza for last nights loss.

Let's be honest here
Are there ANY good frozen pizzas? Pizza is my biggest vice, but I’ve given up on anything found in the freezer section. You’ve mentioned Mendi’s before — do they sell slices? We often pass through Independence when birding.
I blame the hole in my “lucky” red socks for last night’s loss. This morning the socks were traded to the garbage can.

fred meyer organic veggie pizzas are pretty bomb (for frozen). if you don’t live near a fred meyer, i’d just get a bobili, those are easy and tasty.

Mendi's!
Hands down THE BEST. Worth the trip to Independence.
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.
