No Respect for Roy
So I woke up like a giddy school girl this morning. Not from the snow, but from the fact I could now look at the highlights and bask in the glory of Roys sure to be dunk of the night. Only problem is that it wasn't dunk of the night! "Wow" I thought, Lebron musta laid something nasty on someone tonight to get that number one spot. I mean, he musta dunked on an infant or somehting! Better yet, he must have dunked an infant over the mom trying to get it back! But no! It was a pretty standard Wilson Chandler baseline dunk with little or no contact?? This begs me to ask the question, " Just who the H#@L picks these things anyway? Monkeys throwing randome darts?" Not only that, but it was only #4 on the top ten plays from Monday on NBA TV! I have now lost all faith in humanity. Maybe it was just the shock from seeing Roy actually throw down like that, but I thought that was something special. Does anyone else feel betrayed and disrespected?

ESPN's Top 10
Had CP3 as the #1 play last night. Roy was #2. I still think he should be #1 because he had the best play of the night, even though CP3 had a better game.
Oden/Pryz
LMA/Frye
WebFoot/Trout
Roy/Rudy
Blake/Bayless

These things are usually the choice of one or two editors.
It’s not like top plays of the day are a consencus pick. I’ve seen amazing, un-Godly plays that haven’t even made a top 10 before. Just life.

Late-night game
Late west-coast games rarely get the credit they deserve.
Also, hilarious that it turned your swear into an email address.

Unless its a Laker Game
No matter how good the game is, they always dominate the hilight reel. As far as the Country is concerned, its just the Lakers out here. Its just like College Football. All anyone talks about is USC. No one else exists. Its the Pac 1 instead of 10.

Sergio's crazy pass
didn’t make the top ten either. Strange considering it was way nicer than the fastbreak-rudy-behind-the-back-pass-to-aldrige that DID make the top ten.

Roy doesn't get respect by the defense, either
That’s what I though when I read the title of your post.
My reasoning is that if LeBron or Kobe had made the same perimeter move as Roy before his dunk, nobody in the NBA would be dumb enough to try to get in the way to block the dunk. They would have just let LeBron or Kobe throw it down. But NBA defenders still think that “it’s just Roy, I can maybe block it” so they make an effort. Of course we know what happens next. As Roy gets more national exposure, and as he dunks on more and more players, they will stop trying to block it and just get out of the way.

give that cat a name and you’ll have a number one dunk
Man, we should forfeit before roy’s hammy explodes, knocking him into LMA’s ear who loses his balance and hits Greg’s knee… - HurraKane212
