Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Has anyone forgotten how athletic this guy is deep down inside? He goes from the freethrow line to the rim in two steps and flushes it with both elbows bent. Fully extending is overrated anyway. Its only a matter of time folks....

Have we ever given it to Greg like that in a game?

You are right Myemic. It is only a matter of time.
We must not forget….he is Greg Freaking Oden.

Drives me bonkers

They never throw it to him when he rolls, and so many times, is he open. Instead, they choose to dump it to him on the block, the weakest part of his game. Don’t get me wrong, he gets a few dishes under the hoop, but they almost never throw it to him off the p n’ r.

It makes me sad to watch that

we don’t know if he’ll ever regain the athleticism that made him so special. I think he’ll be great, but he could have been utterly dominant.

He'll get it back

It’s just going to take a while. You can slowly see him gaining confidence and moving well, especially laterally.

Big deal

I can show you hours of Bayless Summer League highlights too…

and also, how do you think he hurt his knee? Crazy moves like that?

No, it was a DDR accident

yeah, "DDR accident"

that’s a cover story for tripping on his gay lover.

This guy is no more than 75% of what he was before micro from an athletic standpoint....

and he puts up 18 and 14. I doubt we will see the true Oden until next season, but the guy in front of us at this point in time is just fine thank you!!!!

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
